Welcome! Help Our Community! Project is an educational charity project organized by Cambodian Students Association in Japan(CSAJ). This youth-led action project aims to empower young people in Cambodian society to be the agents of change and enhance social capital of the young generation. We strongly believe that young people can play important role to help their family and community. Not only does it bring real, tangible benefits to communities, it also educates young people about the sense of understanding, caring, responsibility and cooperation, and seeds a new generation of citizen activists. Help Our Community! project offers small scale grants up to US$1,000 for each youth-led project. Help Our Community! project was initiated by Cambodian Students Association in Kanto in December 2007, and it became an educational charity project of Cambodian Student Association in Japan in January 2008. Its philosophy can be identified as an old saying, ；ive a man a fish; you have fed him for a day. Teach a man to fish; you have fed him for a lifetime.・/i>VISION Help Our Community! envisions Cambodia, a prosperous and peaceful country where all women, men, children and especially youths actively involve their best to promote gender, sustainable socio-economic development, environment sustainability and quality of education, and to end poverty in the nations so that they are the efficient and effective leaders for a sustainable world community. We believe in a process in which young people become involved with and try to understand one another in action and dialogue and preserve the human dignity.MISSION Inform young people of their own community's problems, needs, opportunities etc.Inspire them to take responsibility for their own community. Involve them in a collective action for the common vision and goal-building a just and peaceful community through citizen service, civic leadership, and social entrepreneurship. NOTE: THE MEANING OF OUR LOGO  *The green earth represents the global community, and there's a need to protect it to keep in its natural condition. *The two figures of people are uplifting the earth, protecting and caring for it. *The red circle symbolizes the sun. *The tick says that it's the RIGHT thing to do.
